Dr. Blaine Aucoin, born and raised in Edmonton, has dedicated his career to bridging gaps in dental care across diverse communities. With extensive experience in rural settings, he has participated in six dental missions in Nicaragua and Guatemala, working closely with various cultures throughout the Americas. For 25 years, Dr. Aucoin practiced dentistry in Hinton, AB, alongside his wife, Dr. Trudy Aucoin, before transitioning to his current role as a professor at the University of Alberta's School of Dentistry, where he has been teaching for the past eight years.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Aucoin is a devoted father, a proud new grandfather, and a loving dog dad. His personal interests include hockey, tennis, golf, and cycling, reflecting his vibrant and active lifestyle.
